Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village
The Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village, a 188 bed facility spread out over 80 acres in Vincennes, Indiana, has served more than 15,000 youth from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Delaware, Maryland, the Indiana Department of Correction, and the United States Office of Refugee Resettlement since its opening in 1995.

The Youth Village offers residential treatment for 148 male and female youth, ages 9-21, in gender-specific housing units and activities.

The State of Indiana`s Department of Child Services, Division of Family and Children, licenses the various residential housing units as either institutions or group homes.

The Youth Village Detention Center can offer pre- and post-disposition services for 40 males and females in a self-contained building with sight and sound separation from residential youth. The Detention Center has certification from the Indiana Department of Correction.
